Liz Mitchell has 25 years of teaching experience through volunteering, substituting, and employment in local schools, colleges, and churches. She is a former Missouri State University, Central Bible College, and Ozarks Technical College instructor. As James River Assembly’s Director of New Life Classes (discipleship program) and Altar Host Trainer, Liz represents JRLC’s Pastoral Leadership Stream. She is also the author of Albinism in the Family: Albinismo en la Familia, a story that honors her mother who has albinism. The bilingual story, written for children and adults, is an informative biography sharing with the world not her mother’s disabilities, but her mother’s gifts.
Liz and her husband, Scott, are the owners of All-American Rental, Inc., Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, and Joplin (Missouri). They have been married since 1980 and have 3 boys, a daughter, and a daughter-in-law.
