Leadership Practicums

Every JRLC student has the exciting opportunity to serve in several capacities throughout the ministry of JRA.  In addition to contributing to the broader ministries at JRA, the students will select a leadership practicum.  The leadership practicums are designed so that students experience the James River culture in a specific ministry offering as well as equip them with the fundamentals required to lead in that field. Each JRLC student will have 15-20 hours per week of life changing ministry experience at JRA.

Pastoral Leadership

The Pastoral Leadership practicum gives students a comprehensive view of leadership through practical opportunities in the various ministries at JRA. Students participating in this practicum will gain a strong understanding of the organizational structure of JRA and transport the vision of the church through focused action.
